Some stories don't fit into two minutes. We work as camera and post-production team for directors, produce our own films like Contrast and make longer films for companies and institutions.

Which role we take on
On Contrast we did everything, from the idea to the colour. On Lichter im Chaos we were responsible for camera and colour.
So the role can be very different. We set it at the start, so it is clear who does what.
How a film comes together
- DevelopmentWe settle the story, the protagonists and the time frame and turn them into a plan for the shoot.
- ShootWe film over the period the story needs: on a few days or spread over months.
- EditThe story takes shape in the edit. You see a first version and give one round of feedback.
- Trailer and releaseEvery film comes with a trailer. On request we prepare versions for festivals, the website and social media.

How much does a documentary cost?
It depends on our role, the shoot days and how long the film will be. After the first conversation you get a fixed written quote.
Can a company commission a documentary?
Yes, for an anniversary, a big project or about the people in the company. If a shorter film is enough, read about our image films.
Do you take on camera only?
Yes. Camera, colour and edit can be booked separately or together.
How long does a documentary take?
As long as the story needs. Some films we shoot in a few days, others we follow for months. We set the time frame at the start.
Is a trailer included?
Yes, every film comes with a trailer.
Who owns the rights to the film?
We set that out in the written quote before anything is booked.
